Investigating the truth is worth it.
Investigating spiritual truth and seeking answers for what we believe is hard work. It can feel safer and easier to rest on the beliefs of others or to gloss over our doubts with shallow answers. The good news is that the Bible is full of promises for those who seek spiritual truth. Even when it is difficult, the journey is worth it. Wouldn’t you like to discover answers to challenging questions, such as “What actual evidence exists for Jesus’ resurrection?”
Starting March 26, WatsNaz begins a four-week sermon series and Wednesday night study based on the major motion picture, The Case For Christ. This moving story is based on the true story of once-avowed atheist and investigative journalist Lee Strobel.
Come be inspired and discover the evidence of Christianity for yourself, whether you consider yourself a longtime skeptic or a longtime believer.
In his 1992 bestseller Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus, Dr. John Gray provided practical and proven ways for men and women to improve their communication by acknowledging the differences between their needs, desires, and behaviors.
In this timely message series, Un-Raveling the Mystery, we will explore God’s purposes in these differences, how sin distorts these differences and then divides us, and how we can rescue & refurbish our true Genesis 1:27 identities in the perfect character of the resurrected Jesus Christ.
Un-Raveling the Mystery is for the old-timers in the marriage game and those thinking about getting married. Best of all, it will make sense whether you’re a follower of Jesus Christ or you just need help in your relationships.
In her book, The Case for God, Karen Armstrong writes…
“…many of us have been left stranded with an incoherent concept of God. We learned about God at about the same time we told about Santa Claus.
But while our understanding of Santa Claus evolved and matured, our theology remained somewhat infantile.
Not surprisingly, when we attained intellectual maturity, many of us rejected the God we had inherited and denied that he existed.”
Rather than starting something new in 2017, we’re going to Re-Start our faith in Jesus Christ as adults. Together, let’s re-examine our bedtime bible stories as adult faith stories written to explain adult things.
New message series begins Jan 01, 2017.
On Wednesday night, December 21st, we will show the black and white version of It’s a Wonderful Life at our facility at 710 Green Valley Road. Our movie trivia contest and other fun will start at 6:00 pm. Our costume contest will take place during the intermission along with announcing winners & prizes of both contests.
Screen time at 6:30 sharp. Be early for fun and good seats!
